My photo

People write diaries. Their diaries describe their personality. I write on my blog. It describes me way too well. :D
My writing takes me places my mind never wanted to go
Everyone writes. From the ink of their thoughts, by the pen of their mind on the page of their face. Everyone writes.I love to write. It is a passion; a compulsion; something that gives me an avenue to express myself. I write when I am happy; when I am sad or when an issue touches my heart. I find inspiration to write in every aspect of life.
This blog is dedicated to anything and everything that fills my thoughts and occupies cranial space

Human Being or Human Having

So often we try to create our identity with what we have, with our possessions and our position, yet our identity is actually created by our behavior, by what we do and more importantly by how we do what we do. What really matters is not what you have got or the position that you hold, but who you are and how you behave.

We have become a society where we tend to measure a persons status by their possessions and their position. We no longer measure them by their contribution to society. This has created an enormous pressure to constantly flaunt the trappings of "success" the material things that create the impression of status.

Yet the very drive to constantly acquire the trappings of "success" creates a problem. The problem of spending money that you don't have, to buy things that you don't need, so that you can impress people that you don't like.

This leads to constant insecurity, firstly can I afford these things and secondly, what if someone gets something bigger, better, faster, brighter. You sacrifice your peace of mind for the illusion of material comfort and power.

We have to learn to do more with less. Realize that your personality is more important than your possessions. Realize that what you do is more important than what you've got. Realize that how you do what you do is more important than what you do.

Your actions have a greater influence on your reputation than the position you hold or the possessions you accumulate. The one thing that you take with you where ever you go, is you. Make sure that you are worth taking along. Realise that all possessions and positions are transient, here today gone tomorrow. Think of all the changes that have already taken place in your life. The only constant is "you".

So choose to "Be a 'Human Being' instead of a 'Human Having'".
Thanks

Food for the Soul

Remember your school days, the first day of the new class. You were more enthusiastic on that day then any other day in the same class. And now remember the last day of the same class, your energy on that day might be less then required. This happens with all of us, as we do not give our 100% to the job at each and every point. And on the last days of our job, we become more careless, and do not perform our functions with the energy or enthusiasm required to perform that job. The same thing happened in the following story, have a look-

An elderly carpenter was ready to retire. He told his employer, a building contractor, of his plans to leave the house building business and live a more leisurely life with his wife enjoying his extended family. He would miss the paycheck, but he needed to retire. They could get by.
His employer was sorry to see his good worker go and asked if he could build just one more house as a personal favor. The carpenter said yes, but it was easy to see that his heart was no longer in his work. He had lost his enthusiasm and had resorted to shoddy workmanship and used inferior materials. It was an unfortunate way to end his career.
When the carpenter finished his work and his boss came to inspect the new house, the contractor handed the front-door key to the carpenter. "This is your house," he said, "my gift to you."
What a shock! What a shame! If he had only known he was building his own house, he would have done it all so differently. Now he had to live in the home he had built none too well.

So it is with us. We build our lives in a distracted way, reacting rather than acting, willing to put up less than the best. At important points we do not give the job our best effort. Then with a shock we look at the situation we have created and find that we are now living in the house we have built for ourselves. If we had realized, we would have done it differently.
Think of yourself as the carpenter. Think about your house. Each day you hammer a nail, place a board, or erect a wall. Build wisely. It is the only life you will ever build. Even if you live it for only one day more, that day deserves to be lived graciously and with dignity.
The plaque on the wall says, "Life is a do-it-yourself project." Who could say it more clearly? Your life today is the result of your attitudes and choices in the past. Your life tomorrow will be the result.
Thanks.

Wealth, success and love

Everybody wants Wealth, success and love in his life. but it is very difficult to get all three of them together in your house or workplace. But by inviting one thing in our life we can get all the three. Let me share a very interesting story, I heard many years ago, which deals with wealth, success and love-

A woman came out of her house and saw three old men with long white beards sitting in her front yard. She did not recognize them. She said, "I don't think I know you, but you must be hungry. Please come in and have something to eat."

"Is the man of the house home?", they asked.

"No", she said. "He's out."

"Then we cannot come in", they replied.

In the evening, when her husband came home, she told him what had happened. "Go tell them I am home and invite them in!" The woman went out and invited the men in.

"We do not go into a House together," they replied.

"Why is that?" she wanted to know.

One of the old men explained, "His name is Wealth," he said pointing to one of his friends, and said pointing to another one, "He is Success, and I am Love." Then he added, "Now go in and discuss with your husband which one of us you want in your home."

The woman went in and told her husband what was said. Her husband was overjoyed. "How nice!!", he said. "Since that is the case, let us invite Wealth. Let him come and fill our home with wealth!"

His wife disagreed. "My dear, why don't we invite Success?"

Their daughter-in-law was listening from the other corner of the house. She jumped in with her own suggestion, "Would it not be better to invite Love? Our home will then be filled with Love!"

"Let us heed our daughter-in-law's advice," said the husband to his wife. "Go out and invite Love to be our guest."

The woman went out and asked the three old men, "Which one of you is Love? Please come in and be our guest." Love got up and started walking toward the house. The other two also got up and followed him.

Surprised, the lady asked Wealth and Success, "I only invited Love, Why are you coming in?"

The old men replied together, "If you had invited Wealth or Success, the other two of us would've stayed out, but since you invited Love, wherever He goes, we go with him. Wherever there is Love, there is also Wealth and Success!"

Don't want to say more about all this, as the message which I want to give to all of you is clear from this wonderful story. So, always invite love in your life, success and wealth will be automatically yours.
Thanks

India

It feels great, when we hear our praise. Don’t know about others but I feel great when I hear my praise. And more then great when we hear the praise of our own country. The same thing happened with me yesterday, when I was checking my mailbox. I read a mail in which our country, India, was praised by a journalist of Pakistan. After reading that mail, I came to know about some of the very interesting facts of our country. It was an article in which India and Pakistan was compared on some footings.
I felt very great after reading all that because it was a matter of great pride for our country which had helped in raising the head of our country. And more importantly I felt more happy, because from the last few days, I was hearing some of the news which were not good for our country and were shameful for our country including some of the superstitious acts of the people which gave a bad attitude about the blind faith of the people towards the religion. Now I want to share that article with all of you-

Capital suggestion
By Dr Farrukh Saleem

Here's what is happening in India :
The two Ambani brothers can buy 100 percent of every company listed on the Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) and would still be left with $30 billion to spare. The four richest Indians can buy up all goods and services produced over a year by 169 million Pakistanis and still be left with $60 billion to spare. The four richest Indians are now richer than the forty richest Chinese.
In November, Bombay Stock Exchange's benchmark Sensex flirted with 20,000 points. As a consequence, Mukesh Ambani's Reliance Industries became a $100 billion company (the entire KSE is capitalized at $65 billion). Mukesh owns 48 percent of Reliance.
In November, comes Neeta's birthday. Neeta turned forty-four three weeks ago. Look what she got from her husband as her birthday present: A sixty-million dollar jet with a custom fitted master bedroom, bathroom with mood lighting, a sky bar, entertainment cabins, satellite television, wireless communication and a separate cabin with game consoles. Neeta is Mukesh Ambani's wife, and Mukesh is not India 's richest but the second richest.

Mukesh is now building his new home, Residence Antillia (after a mythical, phantom island somewhere in the Atlantic Ocean ). At a cost of $1 billion this would be the most expensive home on the face of the planet. At 173 meters tall Mukesh's new family residence, for a family of six, will be the equivalent of a 60-storeyed building. The first six floors are reserved for parking. The seventh floor is for car servicing and maintenance. The eighth floor houses a mini-theatre. Then there's a health club, a gym and a swimming pool. Two floors are reserved for Ambani family's guests. Four floors above the guest floors are family floors all with a superb view of the Arabian Sea . On top of everything are three helipads. A staff of 600 is expected to care for the family and their family home.
In 2004, India became the 3rd most attractive foreign direct investment destination... Pakistan wasn't even in the top 25 countries.
In 2004, the United Nations, the representative body of 192 sovereign member states, had requested the Election Commission of India to assist the UN in the holding elections in Al Jumhuriyah al Iraqiyah and Dowlat-e Eslami-ye Afghanestan.. Why the Election Commission of India and not the Election Commission of Pakistan? After all, Islamabad is closer to Kabul than is Delhi .
Imagine, 12 percent of all American scientists are of Indian origin; 38 percent of doctors in America are Indian; 36 percent of NASA scientists are Indians; 34 percent of Microsoft employees are Indians; and 28 percent of IBM employees are Indians.
For the record: Sabeer Bhatia created and founded Hotmail... Sun Microsystems was founded by Vinod Khosla. The Intel Pentium processor, that runs 90 percent of all computers, was fathered by Vinod Dham. Rajiv Gupta co-invented Hewlett Packard's E-speak project. Four out often Silicon Valley start-ups are run by Indians. Bollywood produces 800 movies per year and six Indian ladies have won Miss Universe/Miss World titles over the past 10 years.
For the record: Azim Premji, the richest Muslim entrepreneur on the face of the planet, was born in Bombay and now lives in Bangalore.India now has more than three dozen billionaires; Pakistan has none (not a single dollar billionaire) .
The other amazing aspect is the rapid pace at which India is creating wealth. In 2002, Dhirubhai Ambani, Mukesh and Anil Ambani's father, left his two sons a fortune worth $2.8 billion. In 2007, their combined wealth stood at $94 billion.. On 29 October 2007, as a result of the stock market rally and the appreciation of the Indian rupee, Mukesh became the richest person in the world, with net worth climbing to US$63.2 billion (Bill Gates, the richest American, stands at around $56 billion). Indians and Pakistanis have the same Y-chromosome haplogroup. We have the same genetic sequence and the same genetic marker (namely: M124).
We have the same DNA molecule, the same DNA sequence. Our culture, our traditions and our cuisine are all the same. We watch the same movies and sing the same songs.
What is it that Indians have and we don't?
INDIANS ELECT THEIR LEADERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And also to mention: They think of Construction of own nation, unlike other nations who are just concerned with destruction of others...
Simple answer why the Indian fare better than the Pakistani'.. They don't focus on religion and neither do they spend time and money in devising ways to kill their own and everyone else over religion.

Became very happy after reading all this, but a lot is to be achieved yet. This is not the end. Have to receive these kinds of compliments from the journalists of other countries also. Have to walk many miles before reaching our destination and to be a developed country.
Thanks

Hands

Hello all,
Friends, today i have read a poem and found it very interesting. So want to share it with all. Have a look-

Hands
A basketball in my hands is worth about $19.
A basketball in Michael Jordan's hands is worth about $33 million.
It depends whose hands it's in.

A baseball in my hands is worth about $6.
A baseball in Roger Clemens' hands is worth $4.75 million.
It depends on whose hands it's in

A tennis racket is useless in my hands.
A tennis racket in Andre Agassi's hands is worth millions.
It depends whose hands it's in.

A rod in my hands will keep away an angry dog.
A rod in Moses' hands will part the mighty sea.
It depends whose hands it's in.

A slingshot in my hands is a kid's toy.
A slingshot in David's hand is a mighty weapon.
It depends whose hands it's in.

As you see now, it depends whose hands it's in.
So put your concerns, your worries, your fears, your hopes, your dreams, your families and your relationships in God's hands because...
It depends whose hands it's in.

This message is now in YOUR hands.
What will YOU do with it?

It Depends on WHOSE Hands it's in!

Struggle

Can anyone imagine his life without struggle? Certainly not. Life without struggle will be boring. It will be like a melted ice-cream or a drink without any flavor. If we want to be successful in life then we have to struggle, as there is no shortcut to success other then struggle. Struggle in life is must for success. Nothing worthwhile in life comes without struggle.
Yesterday night, I read a very beautiful story about struggle. The story goes as-
A biology teacher was teaching his students how a caterpillar turns into a butterfly. He told the students that in the next couple of hours, the butterfly would struggle to come out of the cocoon, but no one should help the butterfly. Then he left.
The students were waiting and it happened. The butterfly struggled to get out of the cocoon and against the advice of the teacher, one of the students took pity on it and decided to help the butterfly out of the cocoon. He broke the cocoon to help the butterfly so it didn’t have to struggle anymore. But, shortly afterwards, the butterfly died.
When the teacher returned, he was told what had happened. He explained to the student that it is a law of nature that the struggle to come out of the cocoon actually helps develop and strengthen the butterfly’s wings. By helping the butterfly, the boy had deprived the butterfly of its struggle and the butterfly died.

The same principle applies to our lives.
In life never forget that every success story is also a story of great failure. Failure is the highway to success. If we study history, we will find that all the stories success are also stories of great failures. But people don’t see the failures. They only see the end result and got lucky.
Some examples from the history are-

A New York Times editorial, questioned the wisdom of Wright brothers who were trying to invent a machine, heavier than air, that would fly. One week later, the Wright Brothers took their famous flight.
One day a partially deaf four year old child came home with a note in his pocket from his teacher, “Your Tommy is too stupid to learn, get him out of the school.” His mother read the note and answered, “My Tommy is not too stupid to learn, I will teach him myself.” And that Tommy grew up to be the great Thomas Edison. He had only three months of formal schooling.
Henry Ford forgot to put the reverse gear in the first car he made.
Abraham Lincoln’s example is also in the list, whose story I have already published in my blog.

Setbacks are inevitable. A setback can act as a driving force and also to teach us humility. In grief, we will find courage and faith to overcome the setback. Learn to become victors, not victims. Fear and doubt short-circuit the mind.
Tom Watson Sr., of IBM has once said,
“If you want to succeed, double your failure rate.”

Education and good judgment

Whenever we are in trouble we want to seek the advice of an educated person thinking that he has a good judgment power. But most of the time we are wrong, because having a good education does not mean having a good judgment. An illiterate person might have more wisdom then a highly educated one. Many times in our life we confuse intelligence with good judgment. Let me share a very interesting story which I have heard few days ago, proving that good education does not always mean a good judgment. The story goes as-

This is a story about a man who sold burgers by the roadside. He was illiterate so he never read newspapers. He was hard of hearing so he never listened to radio. His eyes were weak so he never watched television. But enthusiastically, he sold lots of burgers. His sales and profit went up. He ordered more potatoes and got himself a bigger and a better stove.
As his business was growing, the son, who had recently graduated from college, joined his father. Then something strange happened. The son asked, “Dad aren’t you aware of the great recession that is coming our way?” the father replied, “no, but tell me about it.” The son said, “ The International situation is terrible. The domestic situation is even worse. We should be prepared for the coming bad times.”
The man thought that since his son had been to a good college, read the papers and listened to the radio, he ought to know and his advice should not be taken lightly. So the next day, the father cut down his order for the potatoes and the buns, took down the sign and was no longer enthusiastic. Very soon, fewer and fewer people bothered to stop at his burger stand. And his sales started coming down rapidly. The father said to his son, “Son, you were right. We are in the middle of a recession. I am glad you warned me ahead of time.”

From this story we can very well judge that a person may have high intelligence but poor judgment. So we must choose our advisers carefully but use our own judgment. Today the tragedy is that there are many walking encyclopedias who are living failures. Winston Churchill has once said-
The first duty of a university is to teach wisdom, not trade; not character, not technicalities.

Our History and Our Destiny

So many of us get caught up in the past; past issues, past relationships, past mistakes, etc... We tend to give away our thoughts and energy of today to days and events that no longer exist. An unfortunate reality of this type of thinking is that we tend to lose sight of our true power and purpose. And we lose sight of the truth that we a free to change - to refine, improve, or enhance ourselves at any moment.

The value of a moment is immeasurable. The power of just ONE moment can propel you to success and happiness or chain you to failure and misery.

What if you could break free from the shackles of self blame, criticism, and disempowered limiting thought?

We all make mistakes, have struggles, and even regret things in our past. But you are not your mistakes, you are not your struggles, and you are here NOW with the power to shape your day and your future.

Today, many will awaken with a fresh sense of inspiration and leave the ghost of yesterday behind, why not you?

Today greets you with no rules or conditions. The only requirement to see all it has to offer is to live it full out. Each day brings immeasurable blessings and opportunities for happiness and success. Like a gift, beautifully wrapped at the foot of your bed each morning, today asks that you open it and enjoy everything inside.

Exhaust yourself with all it has to offer! Laugh, cry, say "I love you", say "I'm sorry", truly LIVE the day… when was the last time you did this? Squeeze all the juices the day has to offer, then, at the end of the day, go to sleep knowing that tomorrow morning, another gift will be waiting.

It's when we continue to look into the box of yesterday or last year or ten years ago that we feel depressed, trapped, and defeated. But the good news is that if you just open your eyes and look, you would see today's box, today's gift is waiting. Let go of yesterday, forget it. It's already forgotten you. Embrace the only day in which you have any power. Today!

Make a pact with yourself today to not be defined by your past. Instead, shake things up today! Live through today. Don't just exist through it - LIVE through it! Have a plan for success and make sure your actions reflect that plan.

Our dream is a reality that is waiting for us to materialize. Today is a new day! Don't let your history interfere with your destiny! Learn from your past so that it can empower your present and propel you to greatness.

Believe in Yourself

Hello all
Today let me share two very interesting stories with you which gives a very good example about the fact that we are what others think of us and not what we think of ourselves. But in the real life it should be the other way round and you should be what you think of yourself. The stories are as follows-

1. The Chicken

Once upon a time, there was a large mountainside, where an eagle's nest rested. The eagle's nest contained four large eagle eggs. One day an earthquake rocked the mountain causing one of the eggs to roll down the mountain, to a chicken farm, located in the valley below. The chickens knew that they must protect and care for the eagle's egg, so an old hen volunteered to nurture and raise the large egg.
One day, the egg hatched and a beautiful eagle was born. Sadly, however, the eagle was raised to be a chicken. Soon, the eagle believed he was nothing more than a chicken. The eagle loved his home and family, but his spirit cried out for more. While playing a game on the farm one day, the eagle looked to the skies above and noticed a group of mighty eagles soaring in the skies. "Oh," the eagle cried, "I wish I could soar like those birds." The chickens roared with laughter, "You cannot soar with those birds. You are a chicken and chickens do not soar."
The eagle continued staring, at his real family up above, dreaming that he could be with them. Each time the eagle would let his dreams be known, he was told it couldn't be done. That is what the eagle learned to believe. The eagle, after time, stopped dreaming and continued to live his life like a chicken. Finally, after a long life as a chicken, the eagle passed away.
The moral of the story: You become what you believe you are; so if you ever dream to become an eagle follow your dreams, not the words of a chicken.

2. The Mental Chain

Most people are like the circus elephant. Have you ever seen a giant elephant in an indoor arena tied to a little wooden stake. That huge creature can pick up two thousand pounds with its trunk, yet it calmly stays tied. Why?
When that elephant was just a baby, and not very strong, it was tied by a huge chain to an iron stake that could not be moved. Regardless of how hard it tried, it could not break the chain and run free. After it a while it just gave up. Later, when it is strong, it never attempts to break free. The "imprint" is permanent. "I can't! I can't!' it says.
There are millions of people who behave like this creature of the circus. They have been bound, tied and told "You'll never make it," so many times they finally call it quits. The may have dreams, but the "imprinting" keeps pulling them back.
Today, eliminate the source of your limitations. When you mentally break free, the boundaries will be removed from your future.

These two stories give a very good impression of our outlook towards ourselves only.
Your attitude in life should be- I am what I am
Don’t let the people to frame any impression but frame it by yourself and leave that impression on others. And remember one thing in life-
“If you aim to fly with the Eagles in the sky, don’t waste your time swimming with the ducks.”

Food for Brain

Imagine a bank that credits our account each morning with 86400 rupees. It carries no balance from day to day. Every morning it deletes whatever part of your balance you failed to use during the day. Wisdom at this stage lies in drawing out all the amount and use it in a judicious way. Each of us has such a bank. Its name is time. Every morning it credits you with 86400 seconds. Every night it writes off, as lost, whatever of these you have failed to invest for good purpose.
Many people spend their day in a frenzy activity but achieve very little because they don’t concentrate on the right things. Success comes to those who manage their time according to their priorities. It is not the overwork but the irregularity that causes fatigue.
It is futile just to spend most of the time working and overwhelming with too responsibilities to handle. Concentrate on results and not on being busy. Understand what you can realistically achieve with your time. Plan to make best use of available time. Leave time for things, you absolutely want to do, minimize stress by avoiding to yourself on the over committing. Success is not far away if you start making alarm clock your friend, making waiting productive and managing mega projects by compartmentalizing into smaller one.

Smile

Did you smile today? Think! Think of the time when you smiled last time. Think of the time when you have tears in your eyes while smiling. Think of the time when you had stomachache due to excessive laughing. I know most of you cannot remember that time. Don’t you feel that you are missing something?
It is said that, “Laughter is the best medicine.” But our world is desperately in the need of more medicine. In the today’s world of globalization we are running so fast that we have no time to smile. Today we are surrounded by so many tensions, that we cannot think about laughing even for a second. Everybody is busy in his own life and have no time for others, even for their own family members. Daily soaps are also full of tragedies that nobody can think of smiling even while watching the television, which was meant for entertainment and providing relaxation from the busy and tensed life. The Idiot Box has still remained Idiot.
Now-a-days we have to go to parks for laughing as we have no reason to smile at our home or our workplace. We laughs loudly in the parks to remove our tension, but what if we face our tensions with a laugh.
Hitler once said,” If you can solve your problems, then what is the need of worrying and if you cannot solve your problem, then what is the cause of the worry.” So smile every time. Let people say that you have a smiling face. In today’s tensed world, if somebody says that, you have a smiling face, then take it as one of the biggest compliment of your life; and I am proud that I have received this compliment.
We must find some time to laugh in our busy schedule. If we don’t laugh and remains busy in our daily work, then what will be the difference between us and our computer. Your smile can be a reason for many others smile. Because smiling is infectious and one can catch it like a flu which keeps on passing from one person to another. But the good thing about this flu is that it has no side-effects and problems.
So, Today, Give a stranger one of your smiles
It might be the only sunshine he sees all day.

Disappointment and Frustration

Many of us, whether we are conscious of it or not, create much of the unhappiness we experience. Our disappointments are the result of our own negative or limited thoughts about ourselves and our world.

What are some of those limiting thoughts, those subconscious beliefs, which keep us from experiencing joy and wholeness?

One of those beliefs is that we cannot be fulfilled unless we are loved and accepted by those who are the victims of our past experiences, that we are too old or too set in our ways to change.

Still another false idea is, "It's a catastrophe if things don't go my way!"

Then, too, there's the self-defeating attitude that to love is to lose, so "I'd better prepare for the worst to happen because it will."

Two more irrational beliefs are, "I have no control over my happiness and I want life to be easy and without hassles; therefore, I'll avoid discomfort or any new commitments."

TODAY I will see each disappointment in my life as a challenge to discover the negative or limited beliefs which keep me from seeing myself as a person of unlimited resources and potential.

Excellence

"Excellence is not a skill. It is an attitude."
Ralph Marston

A gentleman once visited a temple under construction where he saw a sculptor making an idol of God. Suddenly he noticed a similar idol lying nearby.

Surprised, he asked the sculptor, "Do you need two statues of the same idol?"

"No," said the sculptor without looking up, "We need only one, but the first one got damaged at the last stage."

The gentleman examined the idol and found no apparent damage... "Where is the damage?" he asked.

"There is a scratch on the nose of the idol," said the sculptor, still busy with his work.

"Where are you going to install the idol?"

The sculptor replied that it would be installed on a pillar twenty feet high.

"If the idol is that high, who is going to know that there is a scratch on the nose?" the gentleman asked.

The sculptor stopped his work, looked up at the gentleman, smiled and said, "I know it and God knows it!"

Moral - The desire to excel should be exclusive of the fact whether someone appreciates it or not. Excellence is a drive from inside, not outside. Excel at a task today - not necessarily for someone else to notice but for your own satisfaction.

Live Life, Live Now

If the possibility of dying in our sleep never stopped us from going to sleep every night, why should the thought of getting hurt stop us from falling in love?

Life is a never-ending gamble. In everything we do, we gamble our hearts and our very own existence, so why be afraid to take risks and live life?

We are innately vulnerable to both natural and man-made mishaps and catastrophe. We can get hit by a car anytime, get struck by lightning, catch a virus, break a bone, the roof can collapse whilst we are asleep, even a simple act of yawning can result to a very unfortunate case of locked jaw.

We do not have the faculty to protect our loved ones either. One way or another, someone close to us will go, get hurt or even leave us for good. We have no power over it nor can we avert such an event. We cannot fully insulate ourselves as well as our hearts either. Even the healthiest person can get sick.

One way or another, we will care for someone and that someone will deliberately or inadvertently cause us pain. So what's the point of going to extreme lengths to be wary and vigilant about life?

Lets live in this world like there's no tomorrow. Go places you've only dreamed of going, meet people, materialize your wildest dreams, conquer your fears, do what you want, anyway you desire, and don't let anybody tell you how to live your life. It's your life and we only live it once.

Follow your dreams, what is there to lose? Keep trying. Keep pushing. Never take no for an answer. It's your aspiration and no one has the right to say no to your dreams except you and you are the only one that can make it happen.

Give your heart to someone. Don't be afraid to love and get hurt. You have survived it before; you will survive it again. Love with all your heart, do whatever it takes. If it doesn't work out, at least in the end you can say to yourself that you did your part. Like an old saying says, "Sing like no one's listening, dance like no one is watching and love like you have never been hurt before."

Live and love life! It can be a great one, if we want it to be

Thanks

Live in Today

You lost yourself in your search to find
something else to hide behind.you gotta
stand up and you gotta stand still, watch
your back cause no one else will~

dont cry for what might have been
dont live in the past.
it was suppose to be forever
but forever never lasts.
lift your head and dry your tears, forget
about yesterday. we had the time of our life
but move on and let it fade away

Never Give Up

I'll never give up fighting till the end
If I fall along the way I'll get up and try again
But never shall I accept the fact of defeat
I've set goals in life and those I must meet
But never will I let negativity hold me down
Those who think positive I keep them around
Never shall I dwell on things in the past
Bad times come but never do they last
I shall never give in to those who are weaker than I
If I give up now why not lay down and die
Never Give Up

Bollywood With a Message

Bollywood, one of the main sector of the Indian economy, is flourishing day by day at a rapid rate and it will not be wrong to say that Bollywood, these days has gone global. Now-a-days Bollywood is giving a strong competition to the Hollywood.
These days, a good thing I have noticed about Bollywood is that along with some good movies including some comedy ones, there are some good movies with a message contained in them. And there are some movies which are based on the real life incidents. Many movies contains a message in them whether it is in the hidden form or is in the other form.
Why go far? Take some fresh examples. Some of which are-
3 Idiots- covering the life of the engineering and giving a message to students to concentrate not on the exams but on the studies and to be different from the rat race.

Another movie, a latest release of Shahrukh Khan, contains the story about the life of the muslims in U.S.A. after the 9/11 attacks.

Many more movies are in this list some of which includes-
A Wednesday- A nice movie, different from the regular on going pattern, giving a message about our government’s outlook towards the terrorists and the terrorist activities.

Another Amir Khan movie, Taare Zameen Par, also contained a very good message about the life of a dyslexic children(I thought it was autism, but corrected by one of my great friend), and his interest towards painting and not towards studies, conveying that children should not be forced to do any work and shoul be allowed to do activities of their interest. Movie Black also contained a similar message but somewhat on a different note.

There are uncountable movies on the list including Rang De Basanti, Yeh Mera India etc.The experiment of translition from real life incident to reel life is also becoming successful. These type of movies, according to me, should be encouraged, so that more movies of these type should come up which will definitely help in changing the outlook or attitude of our society. Three cheers for bollywood-
Hip hip hurray!
Thanks
