My photo

People write diaries. Their diaries describe their personality. I write on my blog. It describes me way too well. :D
My writing takes me places my mind never wanted to go
Everyone writes. From the ink of their thoughts, by the pen of their mind on the page of their face. Everyone writes.I love to write. It is a passion; a compulsion; something that gives me an avenue to express myself. I write when I am happy; when I am sad or when an issue touches my heart. I find inspiration to write in every aspect of life.
This blog is dedicated to anything and everything that fills my thoughts and occupies cranial space

Where Am I Living???

When I was in 8th standard, my civics teacher once taught the class that we all are living in a democratic country, and then she explained the meaning of the term democracy. Yes the very old same meaning, government by the people, of the people and for the people. Yes, no doubt, it is a government by the people, but looking into now a days constrains and happenings in the country, it does not seem to be a government for the people. All this forced me to think that Where Am I Living???? Am I living in a democracy or like one of my old post it is a dictatordemocracy or may be something else?
From the last few months, many things are happening in the country, which according to me are not the signs of a democracy. Scams after scams and that too of thousands of crores, but even after that still no effective punishment. False cases being instituted on the whole team of Anna Hazare by the government in the power, all because of the thing that all these people are fighting for something good for the country, but at the same time, if successful can be very harmful not only for the government, but for majority of the persons sitting in white kurta pyzamas in the Parliament. That is the reason, ministers like Mr. Lalu Prasad Yadav, at the time of debate on the Lokpal Bill said that if the bill is passed then it will be like hitting your own foot with an axe for all the ministers.
All of us know that inflation is at peak in the country, and all the items are getting costlier day by day, but our government at the same time said that if a person spends more then Rs. 28 a day, then he is not poor. The amount is decreased from Rs.32 to Rs.28, which means even if the things are getting costlier, even then the index for measuring poverty has been narrowed to claim that poverty has decreased in the country, which infact has increased in the last few years due to the high rate of inflation. Well all of us know how difficult it is to arrange 2 meals in day at 28 rupees.
Even after watching all this, our Prime Minister Mr. Manmohan Singh is silent and acting like a mute spectator. Yesterday I received a text message from a friend of mine pointing at the condition of Mr. Singh which I think is very much right after looking at all this. The text message was:-
Mr. Manmohan Singh receives Oscar for acting as the prime minister of India.
This joke seems to be very much right after watching his role as the prime minister.
As a law student, I have always read that Constitution is the Supreme power and Judiciary is also supreme and is independent from legislature and executive for its free working. But now days many things are happening which have forced people to ask is Judiciary really supreme. Non compliance with the order of the Honorable High Court by some persons is a recent example, which needs not to be repeated. Will it not shook the trust of the people they have in the Judicial System.
I know, in big country like India all these things happen and is not a big deal, but what I am saying is that, if one or two things happen, then they can be tolerated or overlooked, but now these things are happening in a series one after the other, which is not at all normal. The trial of Adarsh scam was going on and there came the 2G scam. And now after these two scams another scam came into light much bigger then these two scams the coal scam. Corruption in the army matters are also coming in the light. May be all these factors are normal for the government, but are not normal at least for me or any other common man who go to caste his vote after every five years with a hope that the coming government will make the country better.

Education System- Time for a Change?

IF it was limited to just teaching how to use a bow and arrow then not only Arjuna but Dharmaraju, Bheema, Nakula and Sahadeva would also be famous for their Archey.

But in those days the teacher found the hidden talents of each of them and taught them on that.. They were fortunate and we are????????

It is not to blame anyone but the system has changed so commercial and so inefficient that the students have come to such a state that they don’t even know how to walk through the path of life if they are not selected in a campus interviews...

It’s true that every education system requires maintenance, it requires effective re growth of mental abilities of the students. In the school days many a times I used to think what I have to do by learning this freaking stuff. Many people must be like me. We want to do something else and we end up o something else. So I want to put up a point of flexible syllabus...

Choose what one wants to study and we will b happy at the end. Who is asking to change the system, there is just a need to add up an extra button o flexible syllabus. We get education about what we need to know.

We are told every year that just few years more to make your life comfortable, but only to realize later that there is no such thing as comfortable and nobody knows how long the life is
Indian education system is based on how well a student can replicate/copy what he/she has learnt instead of properly grasping the topic & writing what the student has understood. There's no creativity if a student can get marks by just mugging up professors notes & writing it in the exam, because we all know, that's the best way to get marks. Those who write their own versions, get lesser marks, even if it's of better quality than the professors. The worst problem is that in these days of globalization, India fails to implement newer & more efficient methods of learning. We've been taught to study... just to pass, once the exam is over, everything's forgotten. In India percent of marks are valued not the talent. How will students try innovations and how will India move forward with this stupid educational system..

Here not the education or the quality of education that matters, but something else. Let me ask, how many Ministers are there in INDIA who have at least gone to a college ... I think one hand fingers are enough to count them...

And yeah don’t you think we need to fasten our belts up to make people understand the real scenario..
Well lemme debrief you about what I mean..
We ain’t Bill Gates to buy out Indian education system..
We can be Sherlock Holmes, we can investigate, suggest, and work for it
We will have to decide, we want the gadgets, the big car then this rat race will go on if we want nature then there will be a change
